Nana's Summer Visit

In June, Mom flew out to CO for a visit with her friend, Jim. We kept them busy, busy & had a wonderful time showing them the beautiful Colorado summer. We toured Boulder, went out and ate Bison, watched Jack play some baseball & ended up with a relaxing time by the pool.

My husband is THE MAN!!!

I have to brag on my great husband for a minute! I little while ago I got a bug in my brain and decided to replace our white balisters with iron ones. I got 3 different quotes and was disappointed at the expense it would be. So, my sweet hubby found a way for me to have my wish come to be. He said he would install them for me!!! Of course he had to buy some pretty cool new tools to help him with this endeavor, but I didn't care. I went to a steel mill, choose my iron, designed the layout & loaded up the mini van. Kevin figured out and studied how to do this and in just a few days our project was completed!!!

What a man!! I was so proud of him and now that I know what he is capable of I have about 20 more projects for him!!! I love you honey & thank you for my gorgous staircase! I just wish I had taken some good before shots... but here's the AFTER!!
