Halloween

We had a Halloween Carnival at church last weekend with fun games, a chili cookoff, parade & trunk or treating. Emy was a halloween kitty and was "meowing" all over the place, Jack was Dr. Toxic, Mitchell was an old Wizard & Maddie was a Teen Queen. I'll post some more pictures from Halloween Night soon...

Emy marching in the Costume Parade

Emy thought that her candy necklace was the greatest thing in the World!

I know, I know....."Where are the other kids?" , you ask. Well, they were running around all night with their friends that I couldn't get a picture of them. I will do better on Halloween night and post some, I promise.

This is a picture of MJ's class at school. He's the blue wizard on the back row.

Fall is in the Air

This weekend was our elementary school's BIG Fall Carnival where we played games, rock climbed, had a silent auction of scarecrows & ate some yummy homemade foods. Jackson and all the 2nd graders even performed some fall songs for everyone. Mitchell took some shots of Jack "waiting" to sing because I was selling tickets at the time. We also won some fun scarecrows that we are going to put up in our yard...right now they are just hanging out on the porch(check our "breaking news" on the left of our blog) there names are Joe Snow & Bubba.

Chasing Bees

Yesterday we were enjoying a beautiful fall afternoon in the front yard when Emy discovered BEES!! She was so funny trying to catch them on the lavender bush. I can't believe we are already into the "toddler" phase....it definitely went by too, too fast.

Ready for the boys to come home from school and
play some BALL!!!!

Fruit Loop FUN!!

Just a taste of why every day of my life I can't help but SMILE!!

Weekly Update

Our family has been quite busy lately and I just wanted to share a few things with you.

Our Primary Program was a few weeks ago and went just beautifully. I was so proud of the kids and we are still hearing comments about how amazing the music was. Mitchell actually performed on his bells and did perfectly. He wasn't nervous a bit. He continues to enjoy playing percussion at school and piano....I am excited that he enjoys music so much, a real natural.

Madison's school volleyball team had their first match last week and won all their games. She was so excited! They all wore their jerseys to school with color-coordinating ribbons in their ponytails and of course, silver sparkles on their eyes. I love this age. She is just enjoying her fun life with friends, movies, shopping & school. Brings back lots of memories.

Jackson continues to love school and is excited to start his first "real" season of basketball. I can't wait to see him play. He has grown 6 inches since the summer and is catching up with Mitchell. Jack has come out of his "shell" as of late and is quite a funny little guy. I never thought he would be as funny and "entertaining" as he is.....definitely giving Mitchell a run for his money!

Emy is still such a little "diva"....still has to have her hair done each morning followed by a few moments in front of the mirror to admire herself. She is talking up a storm & continues to color & dance every chance she gets. Her laugh and smile makes our day! I snapped a few pictures of she and Kevin this weekend working in the yard.....too cute!
