Emy Turns 1!

Emy's first birthday was on Saturday and we sure had a fun day with her! We had a little family party with pink cupcakes & lots of balloons! Emy was so funny because she wouldn't give up her water squirter. (If you don't know already, she loves to drink from the boys water squirter they use for their hair! We finally gave up a while ago and just gave it to her. Now she drinks from it like it's her own personal water bottle.)

It was fun to see her reaction to her very first form of CAKE, too! She touched it and played with the sprinkles on top for a while and then figured it all out and dug in! Of course it was even more fun to watch the other kids "encourage" her to take her first big bite.

Opening her presents.....and YES! We had to get her some baby crocs!

After the party we took Emy to her first official photo shoot and played and had some really cute pictures made! You will probably be getting one in the mail soon!
Love you all!

Jack Conquers the Snow Hill

Yes! We still have a lot of SNOW!! This week it's been in the 50's and has felt a little like Spring. The snow has decreased in size, but we still have enough to have fun in. After school Jackson likes to put on his gear and sled in the yard until the sun goes down. The other day I caught him with his sled and he was really excited that I was going to blog his "super cool stunts"!! Sorry there is so many, but he wanted to make sure they were ALL on here!

What a Tease!

Okay, I feel really bad that Maddie is never in any of my footage, but her school starts so early she is not around in the mornings! I'll have to get her on the weekends, I suppose. The other morning the boys were messing around and teasing Emy with a remote control car. I thought it was cute and wanted to share with you all. Also, FYI....Jackson was dressed for "Tacky Day" to celebrate reading all the "Tacky the Penquin" books! I'm not one of those mothers who let their children's creativeness show in "crazy" outfits of their choosing!

The boys have recently discovered a new game that they love to play with their little sister called....SQUIRT EMY IN THE FACE!
She loves water and doesn't seem to mind it, so why not?

It's a Small World After All...

It's a small, small world. Okay, I STILL have that song playing in my head--over and over again!! Of course that was one of Jackson & Emy's favorite rides at Disney World. We just returned from our FIRST TIME to Disney and we are so EXHAUSTED! I think we rode just about everything there was to ride and saw almost everything there to see. Kevin said that I was "driven"....still trying to figure out if that was a good "driven" or a bad "driven", which ever the case may be we were busy and had a blast!!

We had such a wonderful time watching the kids in awe of everything and experiencing the "magic". We were grateful that Bob & Pam were able to come and share this time with us, too. We went to MGM, Epcot & did 2 days at Magic Kingdom. The weather was just perfect the entire week. Unfortunately we all got a stomach virus the last day, Sunday, when we all traveled back home. NOT FUN!! Poor Pam & Bob...driving 12 hours barfing the whole way! Our flight was delayed due to bad weather in the East, so we didn't get home until 1:30am Denver time. Maddie must of used 12 barf bags on the plane...Emy went through just as many diapers....and Kevin & I were sqeezing our butt cheeks praying that things wouldn't fall out until we landed in CO. Jackson was on the "verge" of barfing the entire trip, but never happened and of course, Mitchell was JUST FINE!!! He never gets sick...I want his immunity system!

We took more than 200 pictures, so to see them all you need to go to www.dropshots.com/aliboowhitten . But, here are just a few of my favorites! Love you all!

On the plane ride to Florida....can I hear Baby Einstein on this thing??

Star Tours was Jack's Favorite at MGM

We had a fun dinner at the 50's Prime Time Cafe at MGM...so cute! The restaurant was like you were sitting in the kitchen of a Leave it to Beaver episode. This was a blinking ice cube in Mitchell's mouth....in case you are wondering.

Emy just loves pickles!!

She must have gotten something in her teeth!
(The knife isn't real, don't freak!)

EPCOT...here we come!

Goofy Jack! That's what we had to call him all week!

The Song of the South...what a classic~

We had a Character Dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern where the characters came and played with us while we had a great meal! Turkey, stuffing, taters, green beans & cobbler. Yum !
This was one of the highlights of the trip. Meeting so many characters all at once.

Emy just loved all their noses!

I need one of these at home! Great time-out tool, don't you think?

Waiting in front of the Haunted Mansion...was she mocking this ride??

Climbing the Swiss Family Treehouse

Emy was such a trooper each and every day!
